GGoogle“What a hidden gem! 60 bucks for a full omakase?! This rivals $200 omakases in NYC. So glad we stumbled across this place.”

GGoogle“Sushi Yasu Tanaka.... Worth it. Whatever reason you're thinking of to avoid navigating through midtown... It's worth it. Genuinely delicious!”

GGoogle“Fire. Omakase and service was great. Would go again. Nice little hidden spot in the back left hand corner of the food hall. Had a casual group of 8 people and everyone loved it.”
Sushi Yasu Tanaka
GGoogle“Wow. Sushi in this place is absolutely phenomenal. I have to agree with other reviews saying that this place is probably one of the most underrated sushi places in Miami. Totally recommended!”
Sushi Yasu Tanaka
★Yelp“Even when comparing to places that cost 3-5x more, this has the highest quality, best Omakase in Miami. I’ve been 10x here and tried Omakase in many places in Miami and NY and nowhere compares for the price.”
Sushi Yasu Tanaka
GGoogle“Incredible food, amazing vibes, and top-notch service. What really made the night unforgettable was the manager, Dunia — she’s attentive, welcoming, and truly passionate about what she does. From start to finish, everything was on point. Can’t wait to come back!”

GGoogle“Omg, the way this sushi place is priced makes me feel like there a glitch in the matrix.. probably some of the best sushi I've had (and I eat it a lot) got the 10 pc omakase for $59 tbh if it was double that this would still be a five star review. Every piece was perfectly seasoned and ratioed and just heaven”

★Yelp“10/10. Fantastic hidden gem! I was out shopping and this was the closest sushi spot on the map. I was a little skeptical because it’s in a food court and it was empty that day but the sushi was really fantastic. No fishy scent and tastes very fresh. The staff was friendly and served everything with a smile. I hope they will continue to do good business for many years to come.”

GGoogle“I have found my new home for tacos. I have tried a lot of tacos in Miami and they always fall short. That is certainly not the case with HotLime. I was blown away by how good the tacos are. I tried the beef and pork tacos and both were delicious. I usually end up drowning tacos in hot sauce but I didn't want to change the flavor in these amazing taco specimens. The guacamole is fresh and well balanced in flavor. I enjoyed my meal with some ceviche which also exceeded expectations.”

GGoogle“I'm originally from Israel , living in the states for a while now, finally found a place by a great spice chef, getting the flavors and taste of home cooking, from cauliflower to hummus, tehini, amba and many things i miss, i'm not religious but the meat is "kosher glat" as far as i saw on the menu. we enjoyed ourselves very much. and the dessert was just amazing. more then anything we expected. as i said, in the food market full of many types of options, that is a hidden pearl a must visit.”

◉TripAdvisor“I can see why this is recommended by the MICHELIN Guide. Sushi Yasu Tanaka is located in MIA Market in Miami's Design District. They were not very busy when I went for an early light lunch on a Sunday. I had the chopped hamachi and negi sauce hand roll, one piece of the salmon nigiri and one piece of the akami sashimi. Food was served very quickly after I ordered. I could not fault it. I have been to Japan and this was top-quality sushi. Freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend.”

GGoogle“Sushi Yasu Tanaka is the place to go to when you are visiting MDD in Miami and want to try something authentic and fresh. I had friends visiting from Europe and it was an absolute hit for them and for me. We went for lunch and the staff was very welcoming and helpful with our orders. I had the bowl with half & half rice/salad, tuna, salmon … so delicious. For appetizer we had, sashimi and ceviche, if we could lick the plate we would 🤤 unfortunately, I didn’t take a picture of that. Definitely recommend this place, specially in the summer refreshing and light.”
Sushi Yasu Tanaka
GGoogle“I am always craving Chef Yasu's sushi, and admire his skills. As always, it was absolutely phenomenal. Each bite was unique in its taste, and each bite was something I didn't want to end. Do NOT sleep on this place. It's the best sushi you can find in Miami, and probably the best in the state. I'd highly recommend opting for the 10 piece omakase, and choosing a hand roll to indulge in additionally on the side. If you want some cocktails, wine, or beer to go with it then you can get them at the bar in the middle of the MIA Market food court. There are places that charge more for lesser quality and more mediocre flavors. You will not find any better place for sushi regarding price, quality, and taste.”
Sushi Yasu Tanaka
★Yelp“I honestly can't rave about this spot enough! It is the actual definition of a hidden gem and although, it's hard for me to want to share, it absolutely deserves every ounce of recognition! My bf brought me here for one of our first dates and now we come at least once a month and it has won our hearts for favorite place in Miami! We are huge sushi fans and there is no where that has even compared. It's in a food court type area so there are other options if you are traveling with multiple people and there is a bar in the middle that makes amazing drinks! If you want literally the most fresh and flavorful sushi in the area, it's a must visit. Could not recommend it enough and the staff is absolutely incredible. 10/10”

GGoogle“There are tons of Michelin hatted spots in Japan that instead of touting a bunch of flare and extravagance, they are nestled into train stations.. or tiny markets. Keeping things simple so people can focus on what really matters: the food This is one of those places.. and feels like a tribute to the hole in wall gems (Michelin starred gems) in Japan Hands down the best sushi in Miami. By a country mile. The fish is flown in multiple days a week.. and the chef (Chef Yasu Tanaka) is highly celebrated.. formerly head chef at Azabu.. and featured in the Michelin guide a bunch The older Tomo took great care of us. Been here more than once. Each time the quality and taste here is mind blowing Btw don’t expect any advanced bookings, ridiculously high prices and formal attire here. The restaurant is slotted into the Mia Market food hall and is super casual. Can be in, feast and out in less than 20 mins! Not cheap but worth every penny!!”

GGoogle“I found this awesome food court on the second floor at the Design District. They have 6 other types of food here also. Foodie heaven! Well I love great tacos and this place did not disappoint me. I had the Shorty which is their slow braised short rib. This was absolutely delicious! The meat was moist so flavorful and tender. It melts in your mouth. Next was the Garlic Shrimp taco. Chile de Arbol with House chipolte aloli. Another winner! 3 nice sized shrimp with diced tomatoes with the aloli. So tasty and the shrimp were cooked perfect. I could have eaten 2 more but I resisted. They do have $3 tacos after 4pm on Tuesday. I will be back for that. They also serve Ceviche and have freshly made guacamole. Try them out you will be impressed.”

★Yelp“Jaffa, one of the vendors at St. Roch Market... Impressive quality and taste. They made fresh falafels, hummus, and all the good middle eastern style fixings generously stuffed into a warm housemade pita. I recommend trying their Falafel pita sandwich. My friend ordered a side of hummus for herself, which of course I wanted to try even though I already had hummus in my sandwich. Ha! I like that it came with a topping of whole chickpeas. Very nice! The "Limonana" is their version of a lemonade (natch) blended with mint leaves. Perfect on a especially hot Miami summer day. Great service. They told us it would take about 20mins before we placed our order and brought our food and drinks to our table.”

★Yelp“How amazing it is to find a delicious option inside a food hall. This sushi counter spot inside Miami's Mia Market delivers high-quality food in an informal space, with outstanding service. They have a small menu, full of fresh and quality fish, some appetizers, and Omakase (10 pieces and one hand roll). They follow the idea of keeping it simple but delicious, the staff is very nice and always helping and explaining each piece of menu items. One of my favorite bites is the Uni & Ikura hand roll, the way that the fresh Uni melts with popping Ikura makes this hand roll a piece of heaven. If you are a sushi lover this will be your favorite spot in Miami.”

★Yelp“After walking the whole MIA market twice since it was my first time there, I decided Jaffa had to be it because of my wife's veganism and my love for Israeli and Middle Eastern food as a whole. Having been to Israel three times, most recently end of 2019, and having grown up with great spots in Puerto Rico and Boston, my experience with fresh hummus has led to a high standard and boy did they deliver. The meat kebabs and hummus were very well seasoned and filling. Cannot wait to go back and will likely call on them to cater an event in the future.”

★Yelp“Miami's Design District is a beautiful place and one of the main tourist attractions in the region. Despite having dozens of very expensive restaurants, inside the Plaza Shopping Center there is a small food court with excellent restaurant options. And perhaps the best option is the Sardomare restaurant. Excellent service! Authentic Italian food! Fresh, high-quality ingredients! And everything served very quickly! If you're in the Design District and want to eat well on a budget, go check out Sardomare.”
Sardomare Pasta Bar
GGoogle“Dinner tonight waz fire.com. i tried their aji amarillo ceviche, cilantro ceviche and a variety of tacos. The food here is rediculously fresh for a food court. Nothing is made until you order it. Their ceviche is so amazing. A combination of fish, octopus, shrimp in A) yellow pepper sauce B) cilantro sauce topped with red onion, homony and cancha (crunchy peruvian corn). They are $16 and so worth it. The tacos on tuesday are $3 and so delightful. I highly suggest this killer joint.”

★Yelp“Amazing experience here. My wife and i got 2 omakase menus. They were 10 pieces of nigiri and finished with a hand roll. Each piece was perfectly tempered, rice was just warm enough. Flavors were so delicate and did not over power the fish/seafood at all. Our favorite pieces were the sweet shrimp, ikura, otoro, and the smoked salmon. We ordered 2 uni and ikura hand roll as well and it was absolutely delicious. So good. Will definitely come back. Big compliments to the chefs.”
Sushi Yasu Tanaka
GGoogle“I went to this restaurant the other day and honestly, the tacos that I had were probably the best tacos ever. The meat was full of flavor and the drinks were amazing. I 100% recommend coming here!!! The customer service here is also very good. All of the girls are super nice and respectful and made the experience even better.”

GGoogle“This restaurant located in Mia Market Food Hall. The food hall is in the second floor. Plenty of seatings. The ambiance was great and it's great for group of friends or family eating. The food was phenomenal. Fish was very fresh and the service was quick. I especially like the handroll.”
